CAMP FUN

Team Spirit Competition: Soul Food 2K8 Summer Camp is BIG on team spirit. To add to the fun experience at camp, each day campers are encouraged to dress according to a given theme. There will be daily winners - junior (7yrs – 12yrs) male and female, as well as a senior male and female. Winners will get prizes, special privileges, and the honor of getting their meals first. Parents, we need your help. Parents, please help us foster team spirit by helping your child prepare for camp. We suggest they pack the following outfits from their closet (no need to go shopping):

Monday – Sport Day

Tuesday – Character Day (Must use character from - High School Music II Day)

Wednesday – Career Day

Thursday – Crazy Hat Day

Friday – Wacky Tacky (Mix & match)

Saturday – Team Spirit Day (Wear your team T-shirt*).

**Team and team colors will be assigned after completing registration**

Additional FUN Events:

Wednesday 7pm: Professional Concert featuring Off Stage Dance & Theatre Company

Friday 7pm: $1,000.00 "Fresh Thinker" Scholarship Competition – (TBA)

Friday 8pm: Soul Food 2K8 Luau

Saturday (time TBA): Soul Food 2K8 Fashion Show

Saturday 12pm – 2pm: Farewell Party & Award Ceremony featuring YOUR camper and other guests. Campers will be awarded, give testimonials, autograph each others’ book, receive their camp T-shirt, take group photos for t-shirts, etc…

**Saturday’s concert features Campers’ major classes only**

Field Trips: Field trips are a requirement at this camp as the children are taking what they learned to the nursing homes, deaf communities and hospitals; bringing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Field trips begin at 3.00 PM and end at 5.30 PM Tuesday (tentative) – Friday. If your child requires a pick-up during these times, we ask that you pick your child up prior to 3.00 PM. No additional fee is required for field trips. However, signed permission slips are required.
